Temple Times
We start this post off with another lizard.
Jazmyne found this cool lizard fellow at our villa. Apparently this is a good one named an Aloo, or a monitor lizard. It eats snakes and rats, and is related to the Komodo dragon. Our host said this was a baby and it was not exactly small..
Walked along the ocean for a ways today and found a sweet surf spot bro. Wicked gnarly barrels of water were ridden by bros of all ages, but the little bro kids ripped the hardest. Seriously, there are some really good Balinese mini bros, bro. All bro jokes aside, surfing looks hella cool. I'm just making fun of it because I'm jealous.
I hope this bro applied some serious SPF's to his cranium. Dude's head is white as a snowball.
Ate lunch at this sweet chilled out surfer hangout spot bro. Had a revitalizing mango juice, and some Nasi Goreng. Nasi Goreng seems to be the dish of Bali, or at least a very popular one. We've had Nasi Gorengs of all variations, but they tend to follow this pattern: Rice + some assortment of spiced meats, veggie salad comprised of green beans, bean sprouts, and usually some unidentifiable dope ass spicy substance, and a peanut component.
Bae chillen, daydreaming about monster waves and sexy surfer bros most likely.
The top of the very long staircase down to the coolest temple yet.
Travel babe looking like she's ready to get some culture up in her life. Maybe some lunch too.

Pinch our cheeks, we cute.
Magnificent sculptures carved straight out of a goddamn rock hillside. See me in my dress for scale.
On set of the latest Tomb Raider movie. Kidding, it's a Balinese temple that goes by the name of Gunung Kawi. This temple had some serious presence. It felt extremely ancient, 11th century specifically. Definitely built to last.
Something very religious must be going on based on the amount and concentration of incense being burned...
This temple had some really excellent moss. It's like regular moss took a bunch of Rogaine then got a perm.
Me and my love.
This temple is called Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu. It was really lush and well manicured. There were many man made pools containing lots of the biggest Koi fish I have ever seen.
WELCOME TO MY TEMPLE. NOW COME CLOSER SO I CAN EAT YOUR TOURIST BRAAAAAAAINS
Bali is like if a standard greenhouse decided to grow up and become an entire island.
