Alien Landscapes and Cows
On the road again! We took the VIP (sorta) bus from Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng and it was an adventure. The Laos countryside is insane. So mountainous, so lush, just incredibly breathtaking. Seriously, postcard worthy views for a solid 6 hours. We passed through villages perched along the ridge of mountaintops before plunging back down into a valley, just to go up another switchback and repeat the process. It's the most foreign feeling place we've been yet. I would love to return someday and explore the region on a motorcycle. There is just so much to see.
I call this Dinosaur Ridge.
Lots of these fun tractor things rolling around.
View from the hotel room.
6 hours of constant windy switchbacks sorta takes it out of ya. Jazmyne was a trooper, and managed not to throw up. Thanks babe :) I really didn't know it was going to be so nausea inducing.
Jazmyne channeling her inner Lara Croft. This hike was not easy.
Laos is fucking stunning. Theres so many times where I look at something and have to remind myself it's not fake. The scenery feels like it's from an alien planet.
This is where rice comes from.
Those eyes... killing me. Lots of cows and water buffalo roaming around the countryside.
Superwoman.
