Petaluma / Monterey / Joshua Tree / Phoenix / Scottsdale
We were feeling pretty darn Californian with this healthy AF salad. Fitting right into the wellness community. That's when you know it's time to head to Arizona and eat some tacos.
This is what the land around Petaluma looks like. Rolling hills of green, dotted with cows.
This beer tasted as good as the can looks.
Moving on to Monterey...
Good colors.
Monterey has aggressive seagulls.
This brewery is really good.
Moving on to Joshua Tree!
I climbed up a giant pile of boulders.
Joshua Tree is really really beautiful.
If you squint, you can see Coachella somewhere down there...
Jazmyne's nightmare come to life.
We tried to find a campsite at Joshua Tree, but they were all full. So we had some dinner out of the back of the truck, packed up our bags, and hiked out into the desert for a little backcountry camping.
Sunset.
Sunrise.
Welcome to Arizonaaaaa! Watch where you step!
Been there, done that.
It was really hot. Jazmyne told me to think like a lizard. It sort of helped.
I would give Scottsdale an A. Awesome place, incredible Mexican food, beautiful scenery, lots to do and see. We will be back here. Might have to knock that letter grade down a few points when it hits 120 degrees outside though..
