Tiny Island Nation Fun Times
Singapore has very tasty Indian food.
This is a "Hawker Center." A Hawker center is basically just a huge open air food cart pod serving the best Asian food you've ever had. It's also affordable. We've eaten almost all of our meals at a hawker center, and it's been a wonderful experience. In addition to the food, it's great local people watching. Last night, we were sitting next to a table of old men playing traditional Chinese (I think) instruments. We both looked at each other and remarked that those old dudes are older than the country they live in. At the time, it blew my mind.
This is how I feel about Hawker Centers in Singapore. All the love.
If this little guy isn't careful, he's going to end up in someones stomach.
Singapore doesn't fuck around with Halloween. Judging by the bins of bloody dismembered limbs and unsettling mutant babies this is what I am lead to believe.
Every night, Singapore puts on this giant light show in the "Gardens by the Bay." It's touristy, and amazing. Jazmyne compared it to Disneyland, which if you know anything about how Jazmyne feels towards Disneyland, is high praise. And it's all free.
